Meet Bailey E. Bryan

Artist. Teacher. Visionary.

My name is Bailey Bryan, and I was born and raised in a small community called Homer, Illinois. I had the joy of living on a farm, where we raised beef cattle, corn, and beans. My life was predestined to go into agriculture, but my heart was set on art. I set out on the Pathway to Illinois program where I went to Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois and went to the University of Illinois at the same time. I was the first Parkland Pathway student in the Art Education program at the U of I. I received my associate’s degree in Art Education at Parkland College summer of 2018. Two years later, I got my bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Art Education at the University of Illinois in May of 2020. I am now an art teacher at Salt Fork High School and Jr. High.
